At the end of 2017 I was asked to create walk in loop for an unnamed company based on the theme from 007 Casino Royale. The specs were over 10K pixels wide and was over 100ft on set.
I went to work sketching the storyboards and looking for as much reference as possible. I created some custom digital playing cards, wavy background, along with 3D dice and poker chips that bounced on the craps table. (The company name has been removed from this video for the sake of copyright.)
The biggest challenge was making something so large! At over 10,600 pixels wide it was the equivalent of over 5 HD screens. We also needed to make something loopable that was not too long but wouldn’t get tired of seeing for an hour or so straight.
